📺 About the video: Until recently, Ludmillas were virtually impossible to be seen near Burgas. However, with the introduction of the new heavy iron cast train of PIMK Rail which runs to Stara Zagora every two months changed this. Hopefully forever.

Now, the humming sound 🎧 of the 5D49 engine can be finally heard near the Black Sea station Burgas East, where electric Co-Co locomotives of series 46 have long ago taken over the cargo transportation.

The iconic Soviet-built diesel locomotive, which is ❤️ beloved by many rail fans in Europe combines a unique mix of formidable industrial design, raw diesel power and roaring sounds. And it is no wonder that all BR 231, BR232 and BR233 series are so famous in Germany. Who doesn't like die Ludmilla? 🔥🔥🔥

P.S. The 🇧🇬 Bulgarian version of the Ludmilla, BDZ Class 07, is an equivalent to the 🇩🇪 German BR130 (Baureihe 130), which are much more scarcer than the massively produced BR232 - still running in many countries across Europe.
