How to Install a SIM Card to Vivo Y04

Installing a SIM card in the Vivo Y04 allows you to connect to mobile networks for calling, texting, and using mobile data. The device supports a nano SIM card and may include a slot for a microSD card as well. Follow the steps below to insert your SIM card properly.

⮕ Step 1: Power Off the Device
It is recommended to turn off your Vivo Y04 before inserting or removing the SIM card.
Press and hold the Power button, then tap Power off.

⮕ Step 2: Locate the SIM Card Tray
Find the SIM card tray on the side of your Vivo Y04.
You will see a small pinhole next to the tray.

⮕ Step 3: Insert the Ejector Tool
Use the SIM ejector tool provided in the box.
Gently insert the tool into the pinhole and press until the tray pops out.

If the ejector tool is unavailable, a small paperclip may be used as an alternative.

⮕ Step 4: Place the SIM Card
Remove the tray completely and place your nano SIM card into the correct slot.
⮕ Ensure the gold contacts are facing downward.
⮕ Align the cut corner of the SIM card with the tray outline.
If the tray supports a microSD card, you may also insert it in the designated slot.

⮕ Step 5: Reinsert the Tray
Carefully slide the SIM card tray back into the device until it fits flush with the frame.

⮕ Step 6: Power On the Device
Press and hold the Power button to turn the device back on.
Wait for the SIM to be detected — the signal bars and carrier name should appear in the status bar.
