2023 MHSAA D2 Football Finals: Muskegon 33 Warren De La Salle 21 (November 25, 2023)

In the 2023 Division 2 State Championship, Game, two-time defending champion Warren De La Salle looked to retain their title against state power Muskegon.

Muskegon's senior quarterback M’Khi Guy stole the show, accounting for four touchdowns, while rushing for 215 yards on 25 carries. To add to the night, he made the most out of his limited throwing attempts, going 4-for-6 for 159 yards.

Despite tailing 21-7 at the half, led by Guy, the Big Reds of Muskegon outscored the Pilots 26-0 in the second half, en route to a 33-21 victory. The win marked their first state championship, since 2017.
