In this video, we go over the definition of an APU, its history and how it became a reality and what the future might bring if we can get enough performance from them to replace discrete GPUs. We also go over how AMD created the project back in 2006 and how it matured after almost a decade since it's launch.

The future is still uncertain but with the upcoming release of the AMD 8 Cores and 16 Threads APU code named Renoir, we are certainly getting excited about chips in further development. I would love to do a desktop build once they come out and check their capabilities in video editing and gaming.
