Claypot Fish head curry/ Kari Kepala Ikan
Absolutely delicious fish curry

Ingredients

Fish Head
1 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder

6 tbsp coconut 🥥 Oil
1 brinjal cut into 6
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp fenugreek seeds
1 spring curry leaves
7 cloves garlic
12 to 15 shallots (or 1 big onion sliced)
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
3 Green chili slited
Sufficient water
Tamarind water ( Lime size tamarind +water)
1 cup 2nd coconut 🥥 milk
1/2 cup 1 St coconut milk
1/2 tsp fenugreek and mustard seeds powder (Homemade ) optional.
(A)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp chili powder
2 tsp coriander powder
3 tbsp fish curry powder

Method
--------
*Marinate Fish Head with cumin and turmeric powder and set a side.
*Heat up clay pot with oil, fry the brinjal 70 percentage and set aside.
*With Same oil, add in mustard seeds, fenugreek and curry leaves. Follow by garlic and shallots. Saute till slightly brown, now add in ginger garlic paste. Mix well and cook for a minute.
*Add In ingredients (A)all powders, mix well, add in little water and let the masalas cook until oil separated. Now add in sufficient water again and bring it boil.
*Once well boiled, add In tamarind water, let it boil further. Add in 2nd coconut 🥥 milk continue boil, now add in FISH HEAD, and salt. Let it cook. Now add in 1st coconut milk and bring it boil for a minute, add in green chili and fried brinjal. Cook another 2 minutes.
*Finally add in homemade fenugreek, mustard seeds powder and coriander leaves and switch off the flame. Yummy fish Head Curry served.
