BANISH Algae From Your Aquarium With HYDROGEN PEROXIDE [Algae Control in Planted Tanks]

Sometimes no matter how much you try to "balance" your tank, including water changes, changing your fertilizer and lighting schedule, and even manual removal, its just not possible to eradicate algae.
Here's a way to start fresh, removing 99% of the algae...

You want to buy 3% Hydrogen Peroxide from the pharmacy or a large supermarket. I use medical grade to be safe.

1. Start with removing as much of the algae as you can, using a scrubber or toothbrush.
2. Remove the biological filter.
3. For large algae infestations, use a whole tank dosing system of 1.5 ml to 2 ml(2 ml is really the MAX you could do, so stick to 1.5 ml if you can) per 1 US gallon (or 3.78 L) and keep the filter running.
4. For small problems with algae, do a spot dose. Stop the filter completely, then wait until the water calms. Squirt directly onto the algae, enough to cover completely the algae.

5. In either case, wait 15 minutes and allow the peroxide to react with the Algae.
6. Do a 40% water change, and repeat within 3 to 4 days.
