Before the rise of the Empire, the Republic maintained extensive public archives on the HoloNet, preserving records of galactic conflicts and historical events. Among them was a comprehensive file compiled by Rhil Dairo, a renowned journalist for the Republic’s HoloNet news service, documenting the brutal war against the Nihil marauders during the High Republic era. Buried within this archive were intercepted communications, Nihil imagery... and their war music.

One such track, "Long Live Marchion Ro," was recovered from a captured Nihil warship - a brutal anthem of distortion and fury, both a battle cry and propaganda piece, glorifying the Nihil’s reign of terror, the might of their Stormwall and the feared Eye of the Storm, Marchion Ro. Preserved as a grim historical record, the song faded into obscurity after the Nihil’s defeat.

Years later, it resurfaced: not as a relic of fear, but as a misguided yet undeniably powerful blast of music. Whether those screaming its lyrics understood its origins or simply reveled in its raw defiance, the song found new life in the Mid and Outer Rim’s underground scene, its meaning lost to time but its fury untouched.
