Stonehenge, a prehistoric monument in Wiltshire, England, with its massive stone circles dating back to 3000 BC, is a sight to behold. The New Forest, a national park in Southern England, is a picturesque landscape dotted with ancient woodlands, some housing trees older than 1000 years, and free-roaming ponies. Winchester Cathedral, in Hampshire, is a stunning Gothic cathedral celebrated for its long nave and medieval architecture, a true inspiration for any history enthusiast.
I decided to go on a day road trip on my motorbike with a friend. Most of the roads we used were dual carriageways A43, A34, A35, A303, A344, B3090, and some motorways M40 and M27. We did approximately 280 miles. The difficulty mode was low to medium, as A43 after Hinckley to Salisbury is a 40-mile ride with dips and turns - enjoyment! The traffic on Sunday morning and the evening were low to medium, though, around Stonehedge and New Forest, there was traffic/congestion; we filtered through the traffic.
Refuelling on services (Wey hill West Services near Stonehedge and Roadchef Sutton Scotney near Newbury on our way back) and having food at The Mailmans Arm in New Forest with live music and the Ferrari dealership next to it were good attractions.
