BC United MLA for Surrey-White Rock, Trevor Halford, called today for immediate action to address the NDP's worsening affordability crisis. Halford drew attention to the record-breaking exodus of British Columbians last year, including many from his own community, who are leaving for other provinces following David Eby and the NDP’s inability to manage the cost-of-living crisis in B.C. that has left families struggling.
Pointing to skyrocketing grocery and housing costs, increased food bank usage, and over 67,000 people leaving the province in search of a better life, Halford highlighted the NDP's broken promises and urged the government to adopt BC United's common-sense solutions to make life more affordable for all British Columbians.
