Stylish, lavish, and ornate, Orlando may be a nobleman-turned-noblewoman, but their experience reflects heavily that of the experience of the transgender community. Additionally, Orlando doesn't just transcend gender norms, but also encourages viewers to reflect on how we have transitioned over time ourselves. Equally beautiful, sensual, camp, and comic, Orlando is worthy of celebrating as a queer cinematic classic.
