Fish Tank Disaster Filter Fails Throws Back Waste Into Tank

I accidentally moved the air balls too close to the filters and the pumps started to draw in the air bubbles. Immediately the filter pipes (I have two on either side of the tank) started blowing out waste into the tank! The tank filled up quickly and the water turned brownish cloudy. You can hear the filter sound in the background. The cichlids were distressed and started swimming around a lot more frantically.

Thankfully help was around the corner. The air balls were moved back and out of the way. An urgent water change was necessary. I would say about a third of the water was drained out and filled the tank up again.

The video shows from 03:45 timestamp the clear water after about 2hrs. Thanks to the powerful filters and water change, I managed to save my fish. The sound of the filters have also changed and quieter after the fix.
