In this video I show you how to change the spark plugs on an F30 BMW 340i. This process will be the same for the 440i and any B58 powered BMW. The install is pretty straight forward and I think it took longer to get to the spark plugs than it did to actually change them. Once you remove the engine cover, you’ll notice that the last spark plug is buried under plastic and foam, and taking the extra time to remove that stuff will make the installation of the plugs much easier.

If your car is higher mileage, I’d recommend replacing the ignition coils at the same time since you will have to take them out anyway. Since my car only has 50,000 miles and the coils I was looking for were out of stock, I opted to re-use the original ones.
