Chacarera Backing Track | Percussion Metronome | 135 BPM

Chacarera is a musical rhythm belonging to Argentine folk music. This rhythm can be written in both 3/4 and 6/8. The basic rhythmic cell arises from the superimposition of these two time signatures.

The traditional instrumentation is made up by guitars, legüero bass drum (bombo legüero) and eventually violin, piano or bandoneon. In this case I added percussive elements from other regions such as congas, shakers and claps.

In this track the formal structure of the chacarera is not respected, but there are 10 minutes of continuous rhythm with variations, specifically designed to practice or play with the instrument of your choice.

La chacarera es un ritmo perteneciente a la música folklórica argentina. Este ritmo puede ser escrito tanto en 3/4 como en 6/8. De la superposición de estos dos quebrados de compás surge la célula rítmica básica.

La instrumentación tradicional está conformada por guitarras, bombo legüero y eventualmente violín, piano o bandoneón. En este caso agregué elementos percusivos de otras regiones: congas, shakers y palmas.

En este track no está respetada la estructura formal de la chacarera, sino que son 10 minutos del ritmo contínuo con variaciones, pensado específicamente para practicar o tocar con el instrumento que elijas.
