STORYLINE:
On the anniversary of President Donald Trump’s first year back in office, protesters in Washington, DC took to the street to speak out against the administration.
 
Last year, the administration deployed National Guard troops in a federal takeover of local law enforcement.
 
Since then protests across the District of Columbia have sprung up often.
 
On Tuesday, Trump spoke from the White House press briefing room about his administrations accomplishments in his first year.
