Guard Retention: Leg Drag Counter No Gi BJJ / Jiu-Jitsu

Описание к видео Guard Retention: Leg Drag Counter No Gi BJJ / Jiu-Jitsu

The leg drag is more commonly seen in gi training, but it's very effective in in no gi as well: someone can get a good grip on your ankle, drag your leg across to their far hip and very quickly from there start to pass your guard. From there it becomes a scramble to recover your knee line (best case scenario) or you find yourself defending your back (worst case scenario). To start, we go over the main goal of the leg drag and why it’s such a problem for your guard. Then we look at how a small hip adjustment can help you recover the angle, manage the distance and get your legs back in front (and get you attacking the legs right away).
