2024 Licking Valley Football Week 2: West Muskingum

Licking Valley took on another MVL opponent in week 2 as the West Muskingum Tornados visited Randy Baughman stadium in what turned out to be a classic!

Defenses dominated early with the Panthers clinging to a 6-0 lead at halftime. West Muskingum briefly took the lead in the 2nd half but 2 long TD runs by Trenton Markus put Valley up 20-6. West M would take advantage of turnovers and penalties to tie it at 20. In OT Valley was stopped on downs and West Muskingum completed the game winning touchdown pass to the back corner of the end zone completing the comeback 26-20!

-Trenton Markus 180 yards rushing, 2 Touchdowns

-Kam Walker 9 yard TD and 1 interception

-The Panther defense held West Muskingum to only 48 yards rushing and 222 total yards
