Welcome back to Week 15 of my Mounjaro maintenance journey 🤍
This week was very different to my usual routine — both physically and emotionally — as the festive season brought changes, challenges, and a lot of reflection.

I didn’t take my Mounjaro injection until Wednesday, instead of my usual Monday, after starting the week with pre-Christmas drinks with friends. Tuesday quickly turned into a full hangover day spent in bed, eating McDonald’s and feeling far from on track — a very real reminder that maintenance isn’t always perfect.

As Christmas approached, my mum came to stay, and we enjoyed a slower pace with party food, festive nibbles, and cosy Christmas films. While Christmas Day included some lovely presents and moments, emotionally it was difficult. This year’s Christmas felt very different to previous years, and I found myself struggling quietly with my mental health.

Moving into the new year, I focused on staying as positive as possible and trying new ways to support my mood. I decided to rent an at-home sunbed, hoping it might help with seasonal depression, boost my mood, and help maintain my tan from the Dominican Republic.
