The Animal Welfare Act relies on attending veterinarians and the important part they play in the welfare of the animals at regulated facilities. This webinar will define the relationship attending veterinarians with USDA Animal Care, provide better understanding of the authority of the attending veterinarian under the Animal Welfare Act, and go over the NEW requirements for veterinary care for dogs that were published under the Licensing Rule. The webinar will also introduce our new web resources for attending veterinarians and offer guidance for contacting USDA.
