Ashfaq Ahmed was teaching at a university in Italy. Once, his car was fined for some reason, but due to his busy schedule, he could not pay the fine on time and had to appear in court. The judge asked him, “What work do you do that you were unable to pay the fine on time?”
Ashfaq Ahmed replied, “I am a professor; I teach at the university.”

Hearing this, the judge immediately stood up from his chair and said, “A respected teacher is present in the courtroom.” Following the judge, everyone present in the courtroom also rose to their feet in respect of the teacher.

After the court proceedings, the judge along with everyone else escorted Ashfaq Ahmed to the parking lot, and they did not go back inside until his car had completely disappeared from sight.
