Full Throttle: Heavy Trains & Helper Engines on Montana Rail Link’s Mullan Pass

In this video, we will explore the East Slope of Mullan Pass along Montana Rail Link's 3rd Subdivision. Join us as we catch high-powered loaded unit trains climb the steep 2.2% grade with MRL Helper Locomotives cut into the middle of the consist. Take in the beautiful scenery Montana has to offer in what will be our final visit to Montana Rail Link before it is reabsorbed by BNSF in 2024. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the massive trains, notch 8 action, and mountain railroading that define the MRL. Enjoy!
