"Faze 3" (Demon) by Akvaz | Geometry Dash 2.2

I uploaded "PIXELTHING" by Akvaz about 2 months ago, as well as the megacollab "The Abomination" they participated in recently. This is the entire time I've known about them, and it's been fun to follow their works so far. I'm sure we will see more by them in the future too. "Faze 3" is their new level, which incorporates cleaner art than pixel art (like in their previous solo level I uploaded). It doesn't have a fully custom art look, though, as most of the block designs and air decorations are default Geometry Dash objects. Most of the art is found in the background, with lots of space scenery pictured really well. The choice of foreground suits this, especially some of the effects added on top to match the song. My favorite parts are 0:22 to 0:42 due to this.

In terms of gameplay, it plays quite well. I mentioned much of the foreground utilizing default Geometry Dash blocks, which typically helps the gameplay. As a result, the blocks and obstacles are more familiar and easier to read, as opposed to a completely custom art level. It does have a few slightly tricky parts, such as the UFO at 0:33. All in all, I'd say it deserves an Epic Easy Demon rating, and you should definitely try this out in-game if you like beating Easy Demons.
