How to PROPERLY Disassemble & Clean Your Filter Basket | Intex Sand Filter

In this video I am going to show you how to PROPERLY clean your pre-filter/leaf trap on an Intex Sand Filter. Many of these pumps & filters are very similar, so this video should be helpful to anyone with a similar setup!

Steps:
1.) Change your multiway valve to "CLOSED"
2.) Close your Control Valve
3.) Close your B Port Splitter Valve. If you don't have a splitter valve, plug the B ports in the pool with the plugs that came with it! (pictured in video)
