So after thinking about it for a while, I decided to go all in and try the ultimate STALKER 2 immersive experience... Ironman style.
If I die, that’s it. No reloads, no second chances. The save gets deleted and the run is over.

Right now, the game doesn’t have an official Ironman mode, and there’s no mod for it yet either.
But since I really wanted to test this kind of experience for myself, I’m doing it "manually" and I figured, why not share it here on YouTube too?

For difficulty, I went with Stalker (medium) because the OXA Prototype mod includes Better Ballistics, which already makes the gameplay much tougher. Veteran felt a bit too extreme, so this setup feels nicely balanced.. not too easy, not too punishing.

This is also my first time trying the OXA Prototype mod.
I’ve played OXA Standard before, but Prototype adds a ton of new features, mechanics, and depth, so everything feels new and fresh for me.

I’m also using the Saving Campfires mod, which means I can only save at campfires or resting spots.. nowhere else.
I’ve also turned off all autosaves, so the game won’t save at all as the story moves forward.

This should be the most realistic and unforgiving way to experience the Zone. Let’s see how long I can make it.
