Launch Codes for a few a my Favorite Games:
All Mortal Kombat Games- Mode 6 On
Tony Hawk's Underground 1- Mode 2 On, + Set UDMA to 3
Tony Hawk's American Wasteland- Mode 6 On
Tony Hawk's Underground 2- Mode 1, Mode 2, & Mode 3 all On (or just Mode 2 by itself), OR (Mode 2 + UDMA0)

OPL Button Shortcuts While In-Game:
Reboot to PS2 Home Browser: Press and Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + Select + Start.
Shut Off PS2: Press and Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + L3 + R3.
(Some Enabled Game Modes may disable these shortcuts on per-game basis)

*Model 5000 have slightly smaller HDD Bay, may use a 2.5mm drive instead*

**drive used in video: Seagate BarraCuda 2TB ST2000DM008 (the ST2000DM006 also works, all barricuda's should probably be fine). it's a little slimmer than the DM006.
*always keep games on a safe drive on PC incase programs stop responding and drive corrupts*
WD Blue 2 TB 3.5mm Drive has also successfully worked, easy find at walmart or bestbuy
