Fractional excretion of sodium (FENa)

Medical students and practitioners often find it difficult to understand the basis of mathematical formulae related to medicine and hence, they find it challenging to apply and interpret indices. My claim is that formulae in medicine are based on scientific logic and once we get a hold of that logic, understanding, applying and interpreting medical indices are like a walk in the park. To prove my claims, I have explained the scientific basis of Fractional Excretion of sodium, it's definition, significance, calculation and interpretation in a nut shell.
