Ever wondered what the lowest recoil gun in Tarkov is? Join me on the search for the weapon with the lowest recoil in the entire game!

We start off by thinking about the categories of gun that will allow us to achieve a stable weapon, which is typically low caliber rounds. However we also need to be able to extensively modify our end choice, to give us the ability to attach many recoil reducing mods.

Most of the contenders are in the 9mm category, and within that it's hard to beat the MPX for its fantastic low recoil base, the vast modifications available for the weapon and the fact that it shares some best in slot attachments with other high end rifles like the M4 and the HK416.

Sadly it's not possible to completely remove the small recoil "bump" that you get when you open fire, which disproportionately penalises burst fire in EFT, but if you can control this initial pattern then many of the guns become very stable.

Unsuppressed and with the new 7N31 round, this gun is potentially a bit of a beast, however it's extremely expensive which makes you wonder why you wouldn't just use an M4 or a 416 instead with more widely available and consistent rounds!

Anyway, it's a bit of fun to see what the absolute limit is in the game for the recoil stat, so there we have it.
