Poonch News: Gurudwara Hit, Kids Injured | Poonch Turns into Warzone

Poonch, Jammu & Kashmir: In one of the deadliest shelling incidents since 1971, Pakistani forces have launched a brutal cross-border attack along the LoC. At least 12 civilians are feared dead and over 40 injured as heavy mortar fire struck homes, schools, and even a local Gurudwara. Children were among the injured.

The shelling follows India’s Operation Sindoor — a powerful military strike on terror camps in PoK. In response, Pakistan has unleashed widespread artillery fire in civilian areas of Poonch and Rajouri.

J&K government has declared an emergency. Bunkers are being activated, ambulances rushed, and evacuation plans are underway.
