I made a 100 year old sweater on a 30 year old knitting machine | Victorian Cycling sweater

I set out to recreate a sweater in the Met's collection and learned a lot on the way. The Victorian cycling sweater was an early example of sports wear. A pattern for this sweater was published in The Delineator in 1897. I translated that pattern into a pattern generator and then knit the sweater on my Brother 270.
