You need 14 of these to get all of the game's upgrades. They're not terribly difficult enemies in the grand scheme, but I wanted to share a video of an "easy method" anyway to fill out my series and go along with the video for farming their Sac Webbings (which is a bit more difficult, see that here:    • Horizon Forbidden West - Ultra Hard (New G...  )

The Frostclaw closest to a campire comes with a pack of Clawstriders. If you max out Machine Damage, Machine Health, and Machine Elemental, a Fire Clawstrider can easily kill an Apex Frostclaw. You'll also want to max out Lasting Override, which will either require getting the Tenakth Dragoon (sold at Fall's Edge) to level 3, the Tenakth Recon at level 4 (which is what I'm using) or using the Scorpion Skewers or Mountain Caps food item, which will boost it by 3 levels for 7.5 minutes, more than enough. I like the Tenakth Recon approach as it gets you three of the four skills you want to level 2 before even adding Weaves.

Once you've overridden a Clawstrider or two the rest is just watching and staying out of site. Kind of a cheap method to get these hearts, but with this series I'm going for the easiest midgame method for any player, not the most impressive.
