Irrefutable proof that Apple deliberately slows down iPhones

Описание к видео Irrefutable proof that Apple deliberately slows down iPhones

CONFUSED? So many people have difficulty understanding what this video is showing them. A typically misguided comment is something like, "Duh, the CPU on the SE is faster!". If you're struggling to understand, let me explain:

TO BEGIN:
The first half of the video shows that, once an app is loaded into memory, the SE and 5S are the same speed. Let that sink in for a moment: Once an app has been loaded into background processes (ie. it's been opened once) it is just as quick for the SE and 5S to open it again.

NOW:
Once system animations have been re-enabled, you will see that EVEN WHEN THE APP HAS BEEN LOADED INTO BACKGROUND PROCESSES, that the opening is slower on the 5S. This isn't to do with the app or the processor.

Why?

Because Apple's system animations get slower. The same BASIC system animations that it's had since iOS 7 (which originally shipped with even slower phones). These system animations are INCREDIBLY SIMPLE. They do not require memory. They do not require large amounts of CPU power. There should be NO difference between devices when it comes to something as simple as opening a folder. You do not need a new CPU just to make a simple system animation!

That means if there IS a delay between devices, it's because of APPLE deliberately making things slower on the older device. (Think of it like Apple making it so that the mouse moved slower on macOS -- something incredibly basic and core to the whole experience, that doesn't require faster CPU or RAM.)
