CHICAGO'S MAFIA CEMETERY - Capone, Nitti, O'Banion, Genna Brothers, Drucci, Giancana

Today's adventure takes us to Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery located in Hillside, Illinois just outside of Chicago. This cemetery is home to about 150,000 graves that include, politicians, veterans, actors, and many of Chicago's notorious mobsters. When prohibition happened, there were many groups that sold bootleg liquor. In Chicago, there were three main gangs selling booze in the 1920's. The Northside Irish Gang which was headed by Dean O'Banion. Members of this gang included Henry Weiss, Bugs Moran, and Vincent Drucci. The Westside gang was the Genna brothers and the Southside gang with Torrio, Capone, Lombardo, Nitti, Giunta, McGurn. We will find many of these graves today so come join us as we explore Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery.
