Tom Lawton sat with us last year in a park near his home, and in this part of the lengthy interview he talks about his early years as a child playing by ear. He also describes his experiences in early rock bands: Wolfbane Drake and Berlin Airlift. Two incidents got him into jazz: John Coltrane and Gerald Price.
