The Ravens signed veteran ILB LJ Fort to a two-year contract during the season, worth a reported 5.5 million dollars. Fort, who was still getting paid by the Eagles during the season as well, proved to be a worthy piece of the Ravens vastly-improved defense.


Although he is on his 8th NFL Team since being undrafted out of Northern Iowa in 2012, I would offer that Fort will be an important part of the Ravens 2020 plans on Defense. In fact, I think he should be a starter at ILB; he's proven capable of playing well against the Run, covering RB's and TE's against the Pass, and has pressured QB's when given the opportunity.
