Here we have Mod Revival legends Small World performing a cover of the Small Faces "Afterglow Of Your Love" at The Last Great Act Of Defiance Scooter Club event at Goffs Park Social Club, saturday 9th november 2024. We are many that have seen Small World perform at various Small Faces events, including John Helliers, sadly missed, Small Faces conventions back in the day. We were many that hoped for a couple of Small Faces tracks in their set, and they didn`t let us down. In fact they played four if you include "Runaway" as a Small Faces track, along with "Get Yourself Together" and "My Minds Eye". On the set list there`s 19 tracks including the encore, luckily for everyone who attended, they played an extra encore as well (sorry Chris lol). It doesn`t get much better than that. Thanks to Small World for a fantastic performance.
It was only a week ago but someone wrote to me earlier this week saying "Can we do last weekend this weekend again?", this is for you. Like you and many others, I would love to go back in time to experience the good times again, but sadly we can`t. We have our memories though, and memories are precious.
