To slay a dragon takes its toll on the human experience - that where the greatest danger and fear prevails - also hides a treasure and new opportunities. For the survivor so to say. In the world of folk songs, there are no guarantees of a happy ending, but on the contrary, everything depends on the individual's choices and everyday heroic deeds.

The award-winning Swedish folk music group Jaerv brings us into the land of stories through their wonderful musical interpretations of old medieval ballads. Rooted in several different musical traditions, Jaerv offers a varied stage performance where vocal, five-voiced tunes blend in with energetic dances and free improvisations.
