➡️ Best Time To Visit Badrinath Temple
The best time to visit the Badrinath Temple would be May - July. An ideal time to visit Badrinath Temple would have been when the temperature is moderately cold, but the temple remains closed from November to April. The place becomes quite dangerous in monsoons as there are chances of landslides. As Uttarakhand is generally cool due to its high altitudes, you will not face the scorching summer heat that other regions face in India during the summer.

🛕 ➡️Badrinath Temple, also known as Badrinarayan Temple, The temple is located in Garhwal hill tracks on banks of the River Alaknanda. Badrinath Temple is situated at 3,133 m (10,279 ft) above sea level and is located opposite Nar Parvat (Nar Hill), while the Narayana Parvat (Narayan Hill) is located behind the Neelkanth peak.

Rishikesh, Haridwar & Dehradun all have Railway Stations. Nearest rail-head from Badrinath is Rishikesh (297 km approx). From Rishikesh one can take a bus/Taxi to reach Badrinath.

🚌By Road
Badrinath is situated on National Highway no 58. State transport buses play regularly between Badrinath and Rishikesh (297 km). Local Transport Union Buses and State Transport buses operate between Badrinath and Rishikesh (297 km), Haridwar (320 km), Dehradun (340 km) and Delhi (530 km).

☸️🕉 Badrinath temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is very ancient temple having mentioned in ancient religious texts like Vishnu Purana and Skanda Purana and also in early medieval Tamil canon like the Divya Prabandha around 6th–9th centuries AD.



❗️The Badrinath temple is one of the four "Char Dham" and "Chota Char Dham" pilgrimage sites. The temple is also one of the 108 Divya Desams dedicated to Lord Vishnu, Vishnu.
