LiftMaster 84505R Installed

This is what took the place of the 8550. LM sent this one to us as a demo model and since we don't stock these we decided to use it for training. I really don't like these openers, in case you don't feel like watching the whole video I'll recap here

1. The design just looks horrendous, the 8550/8360 design was much better
2. I don't like the fact that they put a camera in it in the first place, but also the fact you can't rotate the camera. I get it that they changed it because it was ripping the wires out from customers turning it too fast, but it still kind of ruins the point of the camera if you can't point it where you want it. (Speaking of which disregard the comment I made about being able to rotate the cameras on 87504s, they changed them to be stationary on all the models including the UFOs)
3. The lights aren't very adequate from what I noticed, they aren't that bright and it doesn't do a great job of dispersing the light
4. The opener is just as loud as the AC chain drive in the next door over
5. I just don't think there's enough differentiation between this one and the 87504, with the 87504 you get brighter lights, a battery backup, better accessories, and it's a bit quieter and it's not too much more expensive then these ones are.
