CD Beatmixing - DJ'ing for Beginners - Using CD Players with Pitch Controls

This tutorial explains the basic theory behind beat-mixing for DJ's, and then takes it a step further with a hands-on demonstration on pitch-controlled CD players. The theory behind this video is also applicable to DJ's who want to mix vinyl records. I'm doing a second video right now that uses vinyl for the hands-on examples, and that should be online here by the middle of next week..

Unfortunately, as of early 2014, YouTube annotations are not visible to mobile viewers, only to users watching on desktop browsers. I use annotations quite frequently to post clarifications and additional information during the video. For the best educational experience, you might prefer to watch this video in a desktop browser rather than on mobile, unless YouTube eventually fixes the mobile annotation deficiency.

On a side note, I get a lot of requests from people who want me to review their DJ mixes. Unfortunately, I am extremely busy. I'm already turning down paid projects, and I don't have time to review mixes. I wish it was otherwise.
