NUMBER 5: MOSQUITO REPELLANT
We are based in Seattle, and mosquitoes can be a big issue depending on your property's location. We have an abundance of lakes, rivers, streams, and wetland areas that promote a thriving mosquito population. If mosquitoes are an issue for you then you already know this is a no-brainer.

NUMBER 4: OUTDOOR SPEAKERS
If you like having people over or want the ability to transform the vibe of your outdoor space, there is no easier solution than some music. One way to do that is with a portable outdoor Bluetooth speaker. It requires no installation and it can go with you anywhere once you are done using the outdoor space.

If you are looking for a more permanent solution then you can get outdoor speakers wired into your space. For those in the Seattle area we can help with this since we operate a full-service electrical company. You can find more information at our website here: Rockelectricseattle.com.

If you are anywhere else, you will have to either wire them yourself or reach out to a local electrician. Wired in speakers we recommend:

NUMBER 3: PORTABLE COOLER/REFRIGERATION
Some sort of cooler or refrigeration is always going to make life easier when enjoying the outdoors. There are a ton of different coolers out there and many people already have brand loyalty with one or another. Yeti has its people and there are countless other brands that have their people. We are not trying to go against any pre-formed loyalties. We just want you to get something out there to make your life a little easier and the space a little more enjoyable. If you like yeti then go yeti. I will even throw in a link for you: https://amzn.to/3zP9uq0.

One thing I do want you to consider is that there are options out there that can offer more than just the cooler. That is why we chose one that also allows for a little more storage for your outdoor space. It sits a little higher so it can be right off the bar or table at a nice height and has a full rack below for additional storage. You can weigh the pros and cons and decide on whatever works best for you and your space. Permasteel 80-Quart Outdoor Patio Cooler with Wheels: https://amzn.to/3Qg7w7D

If you are looking for something that is permanent and a little nicer we would recommend going with this waterproof outdoor refrigerator:

NUMBER 2: OUTDOOR HEATERS
We always recommend outdoor heaters with any patio cover or deck we build. It's the best way to take a 3-season space and turn it into a 4-season space. There are portable stand-up propane heaters that will be the cheapest, but also the bulkiest and will take up some space. Another option is either wire electric outdoor heaters or run gas lines for gas heaters. The latter two options are more expensive but are much easier to use and don’t take up any usable space. For a budget heater we recommend the Amazon Basics 46,000 BTU Outdoor Propane Patio Heater with Wheels: https://amzn.to/3SiOK0T

If you are looking for wired-in electricial heaters and you are in the Seattle area you can reach out to us at RockelectricSeattle.com and we can get you a quote. Built-in heaters we recommend:
Bromic https://amzn.to/3OOZ3qH

NUMBER 1: BBQ/OUTDOOR GRILL
When it comes to grills there is so much information out there and so many different options depending on how you want to use it, what you'll be cooking on it, what flavors you prefer, etc. the list goes on! If you like to keep things simple and like the taste of charcoal over propane then go with a charcoal grill. If you want to hit a button and have everything ready to go without any need to add charcoal or anything then I would recommend propane. If you are in the Seattle Metro Area, are looking for top-of-the-line quality and want to create a full outdoor kitchen area then we would visiting our website: https://timberlinepatiocovers.com/ser...
