中国共产党的优秀党员，久经考验的忠诚的共产主义战士，我国政法战线的杰出领导人，中国共产党第十四届中央书记处书记，中央政法委员会原书记，中国人民政治协商会议第九届全国委员会副主席，最高人民法院原院长任建新同志的遗体，25日在北京八宝山革命公墓火化。
任建新同志因病于2024年9月21日13时33分在北京逝世，享年99岁。
任建新同志病重期间和逝世后，习近平、李强、赵乐际、王沪宁、蔡奇、丁薛祥、李希、韩正、胡锦涛等同志，前往医院看望或通过各种形式对任建新同志逝世表示沉痛哀悼并向其亲属表示深切慰问。

Comrade Ren Jianxin died of illness in Beijing at 13:33 on September 21, 2024 at the age of 99.
During Comrade Ren Jianxin's serious illness and after his death, Comrades Xi Jinping, Li Qiang, Zhao Leji, Wang Huning, Cai Qi, Ding Xuexiang, Li Xi, Han Zheng, Hu Jintao and others went to the hospital to visit or expressed deep condolences for the death of Comrade Ren Jianxin and expressed deep condolences to his relatives through various forms.
