Goodbye Pattaya, Hello Ko Samet

Pattaya Thailand to Ko Samet - In this video i take you with me from Pattaya to Ko Samet. I book a minivan for 700 baht including the speed boat ride from Ban Phe to Ko Samet Island in Rayong, Thailand. You can find a taxi in Pattaya that will drive to you ban Phe for 900 to 1000 baht. If you are travelling with more than 1 person then the taxi option is the best in my opinion.

I get picked up at 11:30 AM, before finally leaving Pattaya for Ban Phe, Rayong to catch the ferry to Ko Samet. The total time from pick up to Ban Phe, Rayong was 1 hour 50 minutes.

From Ban Phe i then catch a speed boat out to the Ko Samet. You can catch the ferry for 50 baht, but opted for the speed boat for an all inlusive cost of 700 baht. The speed boat departed at 2:03 and arrived at 2:18 PM.

Once i arrived on the island i made my way to my hotel. Ban FaiSai Guesthouse. I booked online through deadfarang.com and got a fan only room for 600 baht. I booked this room for 1 night as i might find a better room near by or move on to another location.

I look forward to exploring Ko Samet for it's beaches and nightlife.
