Cap-Pele fire dept is having an open house on Sunday oct 21 for fire prevention. from 10am to 2pm. There will be information on anything from department of natural resources talking about forest fire prevention and information, Ambulance NB will be there with any info the public wants plus they will have a ambulance that they will also show to the public, maritime firefighter school with some information on how to become a career firefighter, NB power on electrical safety, information on chimney sweeping, wett certified technician on stove safety and instalation and RCMP.
You will also be able to meet all the local firefighters and equipment that they use. See all the first responder vehicles (kids will love that) and there will also be a FREE BBQ at around 11:30 with hot dogs, fricot and drinks. There will be some activities for the kids as well.
