Sittingbourne, the only UK Town twinned with Ypres in Belgium since 1964, is a proud town, in the summer of 2015 produced a short film as a response to the 30,000th Last Post played at the Menin Gate in Ypres on July 9th. The film also reflects some of the current tourism offer, cultural and historic links together with aspirations for the town’s future. The film was produced by Swale Borough Council with the support and participation of many local businesses and community organisations.
