Victrix Vikings!

So we just finished the last episode of the final season of Vikings. It's been a ride, to say the least.
What better way to send the series off to Valhalla than with the plastic Vikings from Victrix!
While I'm still spoiled by the versatility of the Dacian kit, I have to say this is a serious contender for my favorite Victrix kit. Lots of options for both armor, weapons, and heads (and the shaggy heads are quite Dacian/ Gaul/ Germanic kit compatible) and some cool looking berserker types round out a impressive raiding force.
Naturally I had to go almost exclusively axes. The more long axes, the better! My Vikings needs to strike terror into the hearts of whatever adversaries they will be facing on the tabletop!
The auxiliary Roman furs work great with these guys as well- I'll be using the leftovers to make all my nobles and hirdmen.
Now to finally crack those Victrix Saxons open...
