How to Start Selling Stock Footage for Passive Income | Our Stock Video Workflow

In this tutorial we cover how we record, edit and sell our stock videos online to make money. We try to keep our stock video process and workflow very simple and efficient.

We used to look at stock videos as complimentary to our stock photos sales. But this is no longer true. Stock footage is demonstrating a very rapid growth in sales. At the same time, our stock photo sales declined or stayed flat depending on the stock photo website. If you are already licensing stock photos, adding stock videos to your portfolio should be relatively easy.

1. Camera Gear:
We recommend a full-frame camera capable of capturing 4K clips. 4K footage will be a king for a while. At the same time, HD format is being gradually retired. 2. Video Editing Software

3. Learn to Keyword Stock Videos

4. Track Stock Videos
We use a dedicated tracking spreadsheet to track our stock videos. There, we track file names, keywords, titles, and submission status for each stock footage file. You can download this Google Sheet spreadsheet for your own use: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...

5. Supply Keywords Metadata Efficiently
