Brian Johnson: After Bon Scott's death, Brian Johnson joined the band In March 1980 and became their third ever lead vocalist.

Bon Scott's Morning Ritual: Bon Scott used to gargle with red wine and honey every morning to maintain the raspy edge to his voice. Not a bad start to the day if you ask me.

Angus's Guitar Fire: Angus Young's guitar amplifier caught fire during the recording of "Let There Be Rock" in 1977, but he kept playing while his brother Malcolm urged him on...brotherly love for you.

Christmas Cards: Bon Scott sent out Christmas cards in 1979 but didn't pay enough postage, causing many to arrive late after his death in 1980!

Birthplace: Brian Johnson was born on October 5th, 1947, in Dunston, Gateshead, England.

Name Change: He changed his surname from Johnson to icorporate his mother's maiden name...Brian Francis Johnson De Luca.

Joining AC/DC: Brian Johnson joined AC/DC in 1980, following the death of Bon Scott. At his audition he sang 'Whole Lotta Rosie' and 'Nutbush City Limits'.

First Album: His first album with AC/DC was "Back in Black", which became one of the best-selling albums of all time, selling over 50 million copies worldwide!

Health Issues: Johnson has faced hearing problems over the years, which led to him stepping down from touring with the band in 2016.

Geordie: Before joining AC/DC, Brian was a founding member of the rock band Geordie formed in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 1971. “Howay the lads” .
