Another mass murder has hit the country.

This time, several people have been gunned down in Orange Farm south of Johannesburg.

The shooting incident occurred in the early hours of this morning at Mokokotlong Informal Settlement.

Reports indicate that a dispute escalated into violence, resulting in the loss of seven lives, including a three-year-old child.

Four others were injured with two receiving medical attention.

The suspect allegedly shot himself and was rushed to hospital but died on arrival.
