Disney Channel Spain released a "Goodbye" Sizzle ShowReel Montage thanking viewers for the past 27 years ahead of it's upcoming shutdown in January 7, 2025.

Disney ended the license with NetTV, this will lead the channel to shut down as a commercial broadcast television network (Something like ABC, FOX and NBC) in 2025.

The Walt Disney Company Spain might relaunch Disney Channel Spain as a pay cable network There is the option for Disney Channel Spain to relaunch as an exclusive pay TV channel at a later time in 2025.
