I undertook the ambitious project of remaking the classic 'Tenchu' game, leveraging my skills in Unreal Engine (UE5) and C++ programming to recreate the iconic stealth and gameplay mechanics that defined the original. By tackling this challenge, I aimed to demonstrate my comprehensive understanding of game development principles, from conceptualization to implementation, and showcase my ability to translate theoretical knowledge into a functional and engaging gaming experience.

The current test level, though still a work in progress, showcases my ability to craft engaging gameplay experiences, including sneaking, hiding, and strategy. Key features like combat systems, advanced enemy AI behavior, grappling hook mechanics, and additional player movements (jumping, climbing, evading, etc.) are currently in development, with the goal of further enhancing the game's depth and gameplay. My ultimate objective is to create a comprehensive and immersive game that pays homage to the original "Tenchu" series while showcasing my skills as a game developer.
