JW Marriott Cancun- Resort and Spa walkthrough

This is a walkthrough of the JW Marriott Cancun (and parts of the adjoining Marriott Cancun) in October. The JW Marriot has an amazing pool and was quiet and relaxing to say the least. When we went, the Hotel seemed to not be near capacity at all. In fact, only 1/4 of the pool chairs were used at any given point and we could find a great spot all day long. The room was very nice, as was the lobby and most restaurants. Our favorite was Hana, a Polynesian inspired steakhouse at the adjoining Marriott (most of the restaurants were at the Marriott and linked by a causeway).

The one drawback to the JW Marriott was entertainment. There was a nightly lounge band at the lobby bar that was lacking to say the least. Being next to the Hard Rock, we had envy for what we could imagine went on just next door. There was no music or any activities at the pool which was nice and relaxing but got a bit boring by the 3rd day. But you don't stay the JW Marriott for a party atmosphere, so we got our relax on!
